Four-part documentary series examining the tangled personal, political and societal circumstances in the 1982 murder of disgraced banker, Roberto Calvi. Calvi's death brings to light his ties not only to the Vatican, but also to the Italian Mafia as well as a secret Masonic society populated by influential men harboring Neo-Fascist ambitions. The revelations rock the hallways of power in Italy and beyond, with dire implications. The series makes use of a wealth of archival material, re-enactments, and elegant Noir-style animations.
